Crab Meltaways

Family Recipe (originated from Pat Clements)

• Jumbo lump crabmeat - 1lb

• Butter - 1/2 lb Softened 

• Cheesewhiz or 1 jar of Old English brand 

• Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

• Garlic Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

• Seasoned Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

• English muffins - 1 to 2 packs

1. Mix butter and cheese until well blended.

2. Add salts and mayonnaise.

3. Stir in crab meat.

4. Split the tops and bottoms of the English muffins and lay them out on a foil lined baking sheet. 

5. Spread some of the mixture on the top of each half the English muffins and broil until light brown.
