Fire roasted tomatoes - 1 can
Roma tomatoes - 2 medium
Cilantro (fresh) - 1 cup
Garlic - 1 clove or 1 tablespoon of paste
Lime (freshly squeezed) - 1 whole lime
Jalapeño - 1 pepper chopped (include seeds for medium spice)
Red cayenne pepper - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Red onion - 1 small or 1/2 a large onion
Salt - pinch
Pepper - pinch
Drain canned tomatoes and add to a large bowl or food processor.
Chop tomatoes and add to the bowl.
Chop or slice jalapeño and add to the bowl. Add as much or as little depending on desired heat level
Add rest of the ingredients.
Use a food processor or bullet style blender to blend the salsa to desired consistency (I like it well blended and smooth).
Adjust ingredients as needed for desired taste.
